South-of-the-highway Water Mill, on a one-acre double lot with a private dock on Mecox Bay. Five minutes to the ocean beach, ten to Southampton Village, five to Bridgehampton, fifteen to Sag Harbor and East Hampton.
The house sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the West Mecox neighborhood, screened from the road by specimen trees and shrubs. The front yard is large enough to use as a playing field. The back is fully fenced and includes a heated pool, pool house with bathroom, outdoor shower, gazebo with dining space, pergola with a swing, and a koi pond. The landscaped gardens around the pool have been featured on local garden tours.
Inside: four bedrooms plus two additional rooms that convert to bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two jacuzzi baths, and a steam shower. Two living rooms — one upstairs overlooking Mecox Bay, one opening to the gardens. Sunroom, library, and a dining room that seats twelve.
