Summary: The villa overall is a fabulous place to stay. The space available is lovely with wrap around outside space a very good swimming pool and a fantastic solarium, which we nick named the sunset lounge because like the villa is general it has the best sunset views on the island! Every day sunset people come in their droves to park up outside the villa and wander either onto the cliffs opposite or over to pont den gill to marvel at the setting sun. From the villa you can sit and enjoy it all as the sun sets over the med. The location is stunning. We had a car but the local shops and bars are only a ten minute walk away tops. There are downsides of the villa. It does need a little TCL or a couple of days from a general handyman. Fittings are lose and some aspects look weathered and aged and just in need of some love! The sunloungers however are new and comfortable which is great. The hot tub was not heating up properly and struggled to get above 30degrees even when set to 38-40 degrees. A technician did come to fix it but advised he felt the filter was the only issue but even though he fixed it the tub was still cool. For us this was no problem given the heat and we enjoyed cooling off in the tub and pool alike during the warm late afternoon sunshine. Overall I would recommend staying here because it is a stunning setting to spend a week or two of your lives, with stunning sea and sunset views. One night we watched a distant thunderstorm over the sea coming closer and closer which was beautiful! We stayed with our three young daughters who all enjoyed themselves and it felt like a safe environment for them. It does need a bit of love in terms of general up keep so i would think twice about a return visit but at the same time I would definitely recommend a stay here.
