Wonderful villa, rustic style overlooking Mahon harbour with stunning views, large private swimming pool, sleeps 8.
The villa has 4 bedrooms, three are located in the main house , one double in the garden room.
2 bathrooms in the main villa, fully equipped with bath, shower, wc.
A cloak room, with wc and hand basin.
A Utility room, with iron, washing machine and dryer, large Belfast sink.
The drawing room has room for 8, the dining room table, is made from local limestone, with metal chairs, seats 8, helpful books on local places to visit and plenty of cook books.
Kitchen, hand built in trad style, fully equipped. including , dish washer , fridge / freezer, hob and oven.
Wonderful terraces ,3 The breakfast terrace, with seating for 8, large sofa, chairs and great views.
The pool terrace, with occasional seating, small tables and chairs.
The pagoda area, designed for shade with a large sofa, chairs and glass topped table and outside dining area, next to the barbecue area, seating 8 with views across the bay of Cala Rata Mahon. 4 sun beds and a further 6 stored behind the garden room.
A table bar, with access top for ice store, perfect spot for making the best Menorca gin and tonic.
2 other small terraces, to get a bit of peronal space, with small chairs and table.
The whole house excluding the basement which is used for clients storage.
We have a local agent who deals with any issues, always ring them if you encounter a problem, they are there to help you.
Water- check the water level by looking at the light near the fridge in the kitchen, if its orange ring our agents, they will arrange a water delivery. If its red, stop using the water, ring the agents asap.
The villa is located next to the bay of Cala Rata, it has been build into the hill and has a number of terraces, all have great views of the harbour of Mahon and the hills opposite. The area is included in the world heritage site. it's an easy drive into Mahon, where many shops and restaurants can be found.
Local parking just outside the villa, but you can always use taxis, or call the water taxi, to pick you up from the moorings, just below the villa.
We recommend hiring electric bikes, they are perfect for getting in to Mahon, that's very green ):
We provide all the linen, bed sheets, towels, etc.
You are responsible for keeping the villa clean during your stay, removing all your rubbish to the waste disposal point when you leave.
If you stay for two weeks, we arrange for a part clean, including sheets change after you first week. We also arrange a further weekly change of sheets for every extra week of your stay.
Water: In Menorca.
It is not recommended to drink tap water. We recommend using mineral water.
Mosquitos: We recommend using mosquito plugs
We recommend you to include plugs and/or Deet sprays for mosquito, some of these can be found at the villa, but always get refills from the supermarket.
The house is fully air conditioned and every room has a fan.
The house is not heated.
The pool is not lit at night and it is not heated
Of the 4 bedrooms, all the windows have shutters and curtains or blinds.
Sometimes you might get light into the rooms, in which case use a mask.
