Located in the very heart of Aveiro, the charismatic building was designed in the late 50s by Victor Palla, a famous Portuguese architect, designer and illustrator. It faces a small garden, which lies between our house and Aveiro’s main museum: you get all the comforts of staying in the centre of town, while enjoying the serenity of a peaceful street.
There are four sunny, spacious and pleasant private bedrooms available, each dedicated to a different art form — Painting, Ceramics, Cinema and Literature — in tribute to the distinct arts cultivated by Vasco Branco. Besides the bedrooms, there are two complete bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a lovely sunroom. The building also features an arts gallery, a library and a cinema auditorium, which you can visit on demand.
Everything worth visiting is at walking distance: Aveiro’s famous canals, the Municipal Theatre, Vasco Branco’s public works, the several museums or the University; and Aveiro’s stunning beaches are just ten minutes away by car.
