Positive: The location is wonderful, with beatiful views of the mountains, the sea, the agricultural areas and the beautiful town of Salobrena, topped by the spectacular hill-top castle that is lit up at night. It was easy to get to by car with a very short drive along along the dirt track onto the meandering well-made road into town. The property is up some stairs adjascent to the owners home so they are close by if you need any help. It was beatifully clean with aircon in the bedrooms as well as the lounge. The shower room had plenty of hot water and a washing machine. Bedding and towels were provided and there is lots of wardrobe space. The kitchen area has a kettle, toaster, 2 ring hob, a microwave/grill, a fridge and all the cutlery and crockery you might need. There was a TV with some English channels available, internet and some games for a rainy day. The owners Enrique and Begona were friendly and welcoming and they were kind enough to give us a tour of their amazing farm. They were there to greet us, and to say goodbye, and came to our rescue when we shut ourselves out! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return in the future.

Negative: Very little to dislike about this house. The walk into town is difficult back up the hill and the driveway is on a bit of slope, but this is to be expected in a mountainside retreat.
