Summary: We so loved our recent grown up family holiday in Menorca & a big part of that was this lovely house. It is perfectly positioned as it is set in the countryside, so very peaceful, but is only 10 minutes drive from Cuitadella with all its fab restaurants & the port (N.B. get there early or late as parking in town is a nightmare!). The house is in a lovely setting, with a really nice swimming pool (plenty of comfy sun loungers) & a shady outside dining area which we used for lunch & dinner when not at the beach or dining in town. It has been very attractively renovated to a high standard, especially in terms of the bathrooms & kitchen which were fabulous. When I saw the Nespresso coffee machine I knew we had chosen wisely! All the bedrooms are of a good size & there's a nice spacious sitting room with working TV etc. WiFi works perfectly & extends to the pool area. I met the owner, who was delightful & very helpful, passing on excellent restaurant & beach recommendations. She also ensured that more wine glasses arrived within hours of my request. My only gripe was that it was pretty hot at night. There are standalone fans in all the rooms which we used & to be honest you get used to it during your stay, but overhead fans would definitely make a difference. The owner reassured us that bedroom ceiling fans, which through no fault of her own had not been fitted in time for our visit, were on order. Overall I give this villa 5/5 & would definitely rent it again next time we visit Menorca.
