Casa Sol y Luna is a typical Mallorcan village house that is more than 100 years old and is located in the charming old town of Artà, within walking distance of the many pretty cafés and small shops.
The highlight of the vacation home is a roof terrace with a wonderful view of the Calvary with the Castell de Artà and the pilgrimage church of San Salvador. There is also a romantic courtyard with Mediterranean herbs, lemon and olive trees directly in front of the kitchen with a large outdoor dining table. The three-storey accommodation is tastefully and individually furnished and consists of 2 bedrooms with A/C, 1 bathroom, 1 guest toilet, 1 children's room with bunk beds, bed linen, towels, a TV, free WiFi, washing machine, dryer and a fully equipped kitchen.Since 2020, vehicles from outside the village center of Artà may only be parked in the signposted public parking spaces and not in the village streets. A large public parking lot is located approx. 200 m from the house. To unload shopping, suitcases etc. you can of course stop briefly in front of the house. Artà is a quiet village with approx. 6,000 inhabitants. The village center with good restaurants, cafés and a selection of stores in the pedestrian zone can be reached on foot within 3 to 5 minutes - the well-known and popular weekly market also takes place here every Tuesday. Beautiful beaches (Cala Agulla, Cala Mesquida, Canyamel, Son Serra etc.) are reachable in 10 min by car. You can cycle along the disused, car-free and green railroad line (Via Verde) or hike to the nearest villages. There are several small supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies etc. in the village. In the neighboring village of Capdepera there are 2 large supermarkets (Lidl, Mercadona) and a drugstore (Müller). Pula Golf Club is 14 km from Casa Sol y Luna, while Coves del Drac is 24 km away. The airport is PMI 69 km from Casa sol y Luna.
