Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Salvo (host) was in great contact to arrange a time to meet to collect the keys and have the tour of the villa / facilities. Even better he was able to arrange early access to the property than advertised. The villa has loads of space and areas which is key for the large group we had. The location is remote and a car is essential, however you can walk into Pizarra in 10-15 minutes down the hill (so longer on the way back) and the train into Malaga is an option to take if you don't want to drive. Host was happy to help as he lives locally and regularly visited the villa to check pool/hot tub cleanliness. The 3 bedroom pods (which a shared bathroom) were quirky and great for teenagers to have separate space away from the main villa. This is a rural villa but is peaceful and has great views of the local area and great value for the size/facilities. Finally had a sneak peek at the downstairs indoor spa being built which once open will be amazing, certainly out of season and on cooler days.

Negative: Not much, its up a steepish hill from the villa and a car is essential.

Summary: Superb spacious rural villa in the heart of Spain, great for groups and loads of facilities.
