Positive: The location was excellent. Narcis couldnt have been more helpful before our arrival and when handing over the keys to us. The apartment is right next to the beach and also near the centre of Alcudia port, but despite the busy location in the centre of town it was still vey quiet in the apartment. The view of the beach from the apartment was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped with most amenities you could want and also a large refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, ideal for stocking up on water and cold drinks. It was a bonus to find that that apartment had a washing machine for rinsing / spinning swim wear and washing beach towels etc. The pool was a good size, well maintained and was very secure as access to the pool area used the apartment keys. It was easy to get a sun lounger and there was a small parasol in the apartment for use at the poolside which was essential as there were not many shaded areas at all. The aircon was great in the living room area to cool off from the hot weather after a day at the beach or the pool. The outdoor seating area on the balcony was nice to sit at later in the evenings after a walk along the beach. The taxi rank is right outside the apartment so it was usually easy to get a taxi, we never had to wait long but I would recommend downloading the taxi app for your phone to request a taxi if there are none at the rank. The bus stops were also right outside the apartment and seemed very popular and busy with locals and also tourists going to the market etc. The smart TV in the apartment was good for some quiet time in the apartment and the WiFi was also excellent. If you need any gluten free groceries, head to the Eroski supermarket not too far from the apartment (5-10 minute walk towards burger king), they have a good Sin Gluten selection and the prices weren't over inflated as they often were in a lot of other shops.

Negative: The apartment is showing small signs of wear and tear and could do with some updates, but it was also clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. No working lock on the bathroom doors. Aircon only in the living room area and just floor standing fans in the bedrooms meant that the bedrooms were warm and slightly uncomfortable to sleep in, but it was July with 34 degree days so it was very warm in general.

Summary: Great location for the beach, nice apartment with amazing views across the beach and Port d'Alcudia.
