Positive: The location, gardens, landscaping, view from the main pool and bar options, music, breakfast everything was just wonderful. The staff were a standout and offered the highest standard of customer service and were very genuine and kind. On an island that seems to be becoming less personable each year and overcrowding of influencer tourists, the interaction with such personable and genuine staff in a hidden sanctuary in the hills was importantly to us and made our trip very special. The hotel rates are premium however the amount of work that is provided to upkeep the property grounds throughout the year not just the season, and the quality of service that is consistently provided for a boutique 11 rooms. It was nice to have some space to ourselves by the pool, and get away from the crowds. The beauty of a small hotel such as Jardins.

Negative: The only thing for us that was not preferable was the open bathroom/toilet situation in the bedrooms. The entrance to the ensuite was behind a wall, however there is no door or seal separating the rooms. There are other toilets on the grounds however! Also something to note that there are no fridges in the room however the staff were more than accommodating in finding space to store anything we needed to keep cool. I read some reviews of people complaining about there being an excessive amount of stairs so I braced myself, but was surprised when we arrived. If you have reasonable mobility and can carry a medium sized suitcase, the stairs from the upper carpark are not a big deal.

Summary: Absolutely loved staying here and would return.
