Summary: I really wanted to like this place. I used to go here when it was holiday inn but sadly, they changed the name and increased the price but did not make updates. We stayed in the North tower which was supposed to be updated and we had 2 ceiling leaks. They did come fix them but not before streams of water poured down into the room. 2 days in a row in different spots. We also had ants. Everywhere. In our bed and all over the room. I asked them to completely switch the sheets ( which I’m assuming was done ) but it didn’t help because they were all over the room. We had no food in the room so we didn’t bring the ants in. There is no elevator in the north tower so you have to drag your luggage up a very narrow staircase. We went to the pool and the palm trees were half dead and huge pieces kept falling into the pool and pool, it was a big safety hazard. Our blinds were also not working so we couldn’t see out the window. We asked someone to come fix it and they weren’t able to and said they would send someone to fix it the next day and never did. All in all, not a good place to stay, we would not return.
